The discipline of Spatial Design thinks physical space further and creates new synergies between people, design and architecture. The defining starting point is the interior space. The driving force for design are questions of exchange, communication, social interaction and function. As part of our first Hamburg Design Talk, Ole Grönwoldt presented concrete projects in his lecture.
Ole Grönwoldt illustrates the potential and diversity of spatial design with his own work samples: in the video he explains how he brought religion and football together for FC St. Pauli or how Fibonacci's numbers helped him design a meeting room. In addition, Ole presents projects from his Spatial Design course at the University of Applied Sciences from the summer semester 2021. Students designed libraries, banquet halls and office spaces to deal with pandemic conditions as part of the semester assignment.
